The James Beard Foun­da­tion hon­ored James Beard Foun­da­tion Award–win­ning chef, au­thor, and restau­ra­teur Mar­cus Sa­muels­son at its 27th an­nual Chefs & Cham­pagne sum­mer fundraiser at the Wölf­fer Es­tate Vine­yard in Sa­gaponack on July 29. More than 1,100 guests toasted the guest of honor with flow­ing Cham­pagne Barons de Roth­schild, wines and ciders from Wölf­fer Es­tate Vine­yard, and de­li­cious tast­ings from more than 35 stel­lar chefs. Spon­sors of the ele­gant evening in­cluded Audi and Ritz-carl­ton Res­i­dences Mi­ami Beach.
