Dunn Leads Berlin To Victory

Passes For 4 TDs Against Bulkeley Co-Op

Behind four touchdowns from quarterbac­k Kevin Dunn, Berlin rolled past the co-op of Bulkeley, HMTCA and Weaver 41-0 in a CCC Division III East game Saturday afternoon. Dunn was 18-for-27 for 263 yards four touchdowns. Two of his scores went to Larry St. Pierre, who added a third touchdown on the ground to kick off the scoring.

Alex Halkias contribute­d to the offensive attack with nine carries for 111 yards and a touchdown and hauled in five catches for 110 yards and another TD. Zack Hrubiec had 48 yards on four catches and 26 yards rushing on four carriers.

Gilbert/Northweste­rn 20, Old Saybrook/Westbrook 7: The co-op of Old Saybrook and Westbrook fell to the co-op of Gilbert and Northweste­rn 20-7 in Pequot inter play at Old Saybrook High. Gilbert opened the scoring with a 50-yard intercepti­on return before OSW answered with a 55-yard touchdown pass from Jack McDowell to Max Thomas. But two more rushing touchdowns by Gilbert in the third and fourth quarters put the game out of reach.

Hun School 16 , Cheshire Academy 14: Cheshire Academy fell on the road to the Hun School of New Jersey 16-14, behind a fourth-quarter safety by Hun. Cheshire Academy took a 14-0 lead behind a Jared Martino rushing touchdown and a secondquar­ter passing TD from Jack Brandon to Andre Carter. Josh Henderson scored twice in the second half for Hun before the go-ahead safety.
