Motorcyclist Killed In Torrington Crash

A 19-year-old man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Torrington Saturday morning, police said.

Officers called to the area of Kennedy Drive and Alvord Park Road about 11:45 a.m. found that the motorcycle had gone off the road and into a wooded area, with the driver nearby. The man was later pronounced dead.

The Torrington Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team was called in. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Det. James Crean at 860-489-2061.
