Mona E Mangiafico, 89, of New Britain, CT died Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Village Green of Bristol. Mona was born in Fall River, MA and was the daughter of the late William and Jeannette (St. Pierre) Donnelly. She worked as an office worker at Tuttle & Bailey for several years.

Mona is survived by her two sons Paul Mangiafico and Peter Mangiafico, her daughter Laura Mangiafico, her sister Nora as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchild­ren. Mona was predecease­d by her husband Paul Mangiafico, her daughter Linda Carver and brother Daniel Donnelly.

aka Bigmama, 106 of Hartford, CT went home to be with our Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Born in Cross Keys, SC to the late Johnson and Sarah (Briggs) Robinson August 20, 1914. Pauline was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Robert Dixie Reynolds (1979) and her daughter Shirley M. (Robinson) Blatche (2011). As a 6th Generation Matriarch, she leaves behind a beloved son-in-law, numerous grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews, cousins and neighbors. Robert F. Waldron, 72, of South Windsor, beloved husband of Janet D. (Peplau) Waldron died Sunday February 14, 2021 at Yale New Haven Heath-Smilow Cancer Hospital. Bob was born in Rockville, CT on July 2, 1948, son of the late Sherwood C. and Vesta (Shaw) Waldron. A lifelong resident of South Windsor, he graduated from South Windsor High School in 1966 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Administra­tion from West Virginia Wesleyan College in 1970. Upon graduation he went to work in the student loan department of CBT in Hartford and from 1978 – 1995 he served as VicePresid­ent of the CT Student Loan Foundation. He later formed his own consulting business (Robert Waldron Consulting) and traveled the country aiding various organizati­ons with their student loan servicing. From 2010 until his retirement in 2020, he was the General Manager of The Packaging Store/A&A Movers in Manchester, CT. Bob was active in the South Windsor community. As a lifelong member of the Wapping Community Church, he served as a trustee and was also a member of the Finance Committee for many years. Bob was elected to the South Windsor Rotary Club in February 2003, where he served on many committees and as president of the club from 2014-2015. Bob was also honored with the prestigiou­s Paul Harris Award for service. He was a former member of the South Windsor Land Trust and the South Windsor Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed woodworkin­g, UConn basketball and golfing. He and Jan often traveled to their home in Pinehurst, NC where he played many rounds of golf. Bob had a big heart and cherished every moment he had to spend with family and friends. Along with his wife Jan, of over 38 years, he leaves his daughters, Jessica Weaver and her husband Robert of Naylor, GA, and Jenna Morris and her husband Justin of Denver, NC; his sister, Shirley Smith of South Windsor; his grandchild­ren, Cole, Wyatt, and Rio Weaver and his soon-to-be-born grandson, Baby Morris. He also leaves his niece Kiersten Smith and her husband Kevin Hahn and their children Jocelyn and Courtney and his nephew Kyle Smith and his wife Erin and their children Brielle and Violet as well as many beloved cousins and friends who were a huge part of his life. He was predecease­d by his grandson, Bobby Weaver. A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will take place in the late spring or early summer, the date and time to be announced.
