Jason P. Vannais, 47, passed away February 11, 2021. Jason was born in Manchester, CT on October 2nd, 1973 to the late Jeffrey P. Vannais of Wales, MA and Rev. Dr. Susan Prichard of Coventry, CT. He was a graduate of Windham Technical High School’s carpentry program in 1991. He was a sought-after, skilled carpenter, building numerous houses and apartment complexes throughout New England. Jason was an excellent cook and an avid live-music fan, forever a Creek freak and Deadhead at heart. “If you get confused just listen to the music play”. Jason leaves behind his three children; Joshua Vannais, Brianna Vannais, and Samantha Vannais of Willington, CT; their mother and his long-time friend Dulcie Vannais of Willington; a sister Sara-Lynn Vannais; a brother Charles Vannais; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends. He was predecease­d by his brother Kevin Vannais. Jason was loved by all who knew him and his warm spirit, sarcastic sense of humor, and kind heart will surely be missed. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held at the Ladd–Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home 515 Talcottvil­le Road in Vernon on Saturday, February 27th from 3-5pm. Burial will be private.
