On Wednesday, February 24, 2021, Jane Koppelman, loving wife, sister, beloved aunt and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Jane is survived by her husband Gary Weiner of Bedminster, NJ, and Jane’s siblings: Richard Koppelman and his wife Cynthia, of Greenwich, Ct; Judy Panzer and her husband Alan of Westport, Ct. Jane loved and was very proud of her nieces, nephews and grandnephews: Elizabeth Hanigan and her husband Shan, of Greenwich, Ct. along with their two sons Henry and James; George Ingber, Andrew Ingber, Nathan Panzer and Sydney Panzer.
Jane was born in 1952 to Blanche (Gold) Koppelman and George M. Koppelman, who predeceased her. She grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut where she resided until moving to Bedminster, New Jersey where she lived for over 40 years. Jane graduated Hartwick College with a BA in Fine Arts. A talented and successful Children’s Apparel entrepreneur and executive, Jane’s legacy is a gifted ability to engage with people at all levels, skill sets and needs.
Jane is blessed to have many close friends that she loved dearly. She has a loving husband, Gary Weiner of 24 years, and their sweet-brilliant dog Willie, best friends and the loves of her life. Jane considered her friends as family but spent much joy enjoying holidays and practically any special events together. She will be remembered for her gracious generosity and fun-loving sense of humor.
Jane, a cherished friend and supporter to all, never hesitated to jump in and help another person in need. The past 3 years of Jane’s life have been dedicated to a pediatric charity founded by one of Jane’s dear friends, Grace Eline, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 9 years old. Jane was instrumental in founding the “WITH Grace Initiative” for childhood cancer and serves as a board member and Chief Strategist.
Jane Koppelman, loved by so many, will be laid to rest at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, New Jersey with a celebration-of-life to be held at a later date with attendance by invitation only.
Jane’s spirit of caring for others will live on through the Jane Koppelman Spirit Grant within the “WITH Grace Initiative”. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to:

Jacob N. Studniary, 86, of East Granby, CT, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Windber, PA, son of the late John and Mary (Katchek) Studenask. Jacob worked as a coal miner in PA along with his father and brothers. He served our country in the United States Army and later worked as a machinist at East Granby Machine Shop. He greatly enjoyed antiquing, fiddle music, his lottery scratch tickets and going to the casino with his life partner, Dorothy Ference, who predeceased him. Jacob is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; Dorothy's three children, Kenneth Ference and his wife Dori, Michael Ference and his wife Barbara, and Darlene Plourde and her husband Wayland; four grandchildren, Phillip Plourde and his wife Bianca, Jessica Plourde, David Ference and his wife Karry, and John Ference; and two great grandchildren, Madeline and Jeremy. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Philip Cemetery, Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT.
