Fabian , Diana Lynn

Diana “Dee” Lynn Fabian, 75, of Plantsville, passed away on March 1, 2021. She was born on February 15, 1946 in New Britain to the late Evelyn and Roy E. Fabian, graduated from New Britain High School, and received a BS from CCSU. Dee was a friendly and kind soul. A devoted Christian, she found fulfilment assisting people in need working with the Salvation Army in New Britain. She was an intelligent woman with a mind for languages and a gift for teaching. She had a lovely singing voice, and enjoyed acting with the community theater. Dee crocheted, knitted and sewed sentimental gifts for her family and friends, and shared her expertise with JoAnn Fabrics of Berlin. She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed researching its genealogy. She lived in St. Vincent as a young girl and it held a special place in her heart throughout her life.

Dee was a thoughtful and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Dee is survived by her children: Steve Scarfo and his wife Liz of Tucson, AZ, and Roselynn Figueroa and her husband Charlie of New Rochelle, NY; her dearest grandsons, Grayson and Austin Figueroa of New Rochelle, NY; her siblings: Roy (Ed) Fabian and his wife Marilyn of Manchester, CT, and Meris Rosol and her husband John of New Britain, CT. Dee also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family whom she adored.
