Cerutti, Anthony J. "Tony"

Anthony J. "Tony" Cerutti, 54, of Hartford passed on Thursday, March 25, 2021. He is survived by the love of his life of 15 years Angel D'Onofrio Pattavina and her daughters, Nicole Pattavina, Jessica Hubschmitt and grandchildren, Lauren and Jonathan. He also leaves his mother Beverly Cerutti; his sister Linda Heinrich (Gerald); nephews Paul and Mark Heinrich and niece Laura Bender (Matthew). He was preceded in death by his father Peter J. Cerutti, his brother Peter J. Cerutti, Jr. and Angel's son Thomas Pattavina.

Tony was born in Schenectady, NY. The family then lived in Groveland, MA; Grosse Ile, MI and Williamsville, NY. Tony graduated from Williamsville East High School. He received his bachelors degree in Music Therapy and Music Education while attending Arizona State University. While at ASU he was a member of the marching band and performed at many bowl games, including the Rose Bowl.

Tony was a passionate lover of music. He played piano, saxophone, baritone sax and participated in several bands. He also enjoyed singing and was a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, singing with his father in the East Aurora, NY chapter.

Tony took great pleasure traveling and experiencing new adventures. He especially loved boating at Province and Ossipee Lakes, NH. Tony enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and was also an avid reader.

Tony was a great friend and will be missed by so many. He was a kind man who helped anyone in need. He had a special place in his heart for his First & Last Tavern family. Tony also embraced his beloved Angel's family as his own.

He was truly loved. His beautiful smile and contagious laugh will live on forever.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00am Friday, (April 9, 2021) at Saint Augustine Church, Hartford. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford
