LeBel, Marilyn

-

Marilyn LeBel, 81, a longtime resident of Columbia, CT, passed away unexpectedly March 25, 2021. Marilyn was a devoted employee for the Town of Andover Clerks Office for over twenty years. She always had a special place in her heart for animals, and she was an avid lover of her award-winning Corgis and rescue pup Kyla. Marilyn's passions were seeing the world, cuddling her pups, and living life the way that she wanted to. We will miss her smile, her silly jokes, knee slapping laughter, and quirky Christmas gifts – you never knew what you were going to open! What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls the butterfly. With every butterfly we see, we know you are still here with us. Marilyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah McNary (Arthur); her son, John LeBel; grandchildren: Jessie MeGargee (Eric), Lea Lee (Darren), Ryan McNary (Taylor); and five great-grandchildren: Keegan, Jayden, Jackson, Paxton, and Sophia. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Eva (Cooper) Eckert; sister, Carol Larson; and her love and travel companion, Pete Maneggia. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation Inc. 103 Vision Way Bloomfield, CT 06002. Graveside services will be held April 10th, 2021 at 11am at Townsend Cemetery in Andover, CT. To sign an online guestbook, visit www.potterfuneralhome.com
