In loving Memory of Claire E. Sullivan, 71 of West Hartford. She passed away Sunday April 4, 2021 after a brief illness at St. Francis Hospital. She is survived by her brother, Barry Sullivan and sister-in-law, Barbara Sullivan of Bristol, 9 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews, 1 great grandnephew and many close cousins. She was predeceased by brother William Sullivan, sister Eileen Ferraro and was the daughter of the late Bart and Helen McCarthy Sullivan.

She was born in New Haven CT and always spoke fondly of her memories of childhood growing up on on Lawrence Street in New Haven before moving with her family to Hamden. She attended St. Mary's High School and graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston Massachusetts. There is where she met some of her Lifelong friends and after graduation enjoyed living life in the North End of Boston. Later returning back to Connecticut working in all different types of industries. She was loving, caring, funny and supportive person. She loved her family with abundance and was known to be a family historian. She always made a point to be involved and be known in her nieces and nephews lives. Always giving support and inspiration when she could. She loved books, learning new things and a good debate. Claire a daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend will be missed. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Dunn Funeral Home 191 West St Bristol is in charge of the arrangements
