Outstandin­g is the only word to describe the life of this amazing man. Louis William Romanos of Bloomfield, CT passed away at the age of 81 on April 2, 2021. Lou was born in Barre, VT to Raymond and Eileen Romanos. He moved to West Hartford as a young teen and graduated from Hall High School. He earned a degree in Philosophy from Xavier University and went on to excel in his chosen career as an Estate and Financial Advisor. Lou joined the National Life Group in 1962 and remained with them for 59 years. He loved his family above all else and will always be remembered for his generosity, compassion and devotion. Lou is survived by his wife Jane, his three children, Gina (Dietmar), Raymond and Louis, Jr. He was an adoring Giddou to his grandchild­ren Elias, Judith, Greta, Karl-Johann, Hinrich and Sula. Lou is survived by his four brothers, Richard, Raymond, William, Robert, their partners and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predecease­d by his son Daniel Raymond and his brother Dr. Daniel Romanos. We wish to thank Lou's sister-in-law Dianne Romanos, his extraordin­ary Administra­tive Assistant, Marilyn Schools and his dear friend Steven Kleinman.
