Hunt, Holly (Keller)
Holly (Keller) Hunt, 86, of South Windsor, formerly of Coventry, beloved wife of the
late Bertron A. Hunt passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Holly was born on December 18, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of
the late John W. and Alice (Saunders) Keller. She was raised in Bay City, attended
local schools and was a graduate of Central High School in Bay City. Holly was a 1956
graduate of Syracuse University where she earned her BA. in early childhood education. She had been employed with several companies and held a variety of positions. Most recently as secretary to the superintendent for the Town of Mansfield. In the 1960's-1970's, Holly was very active in Coventry politics. She loved journalism and was the Coventry correspondent for the former Manchester Evening Herald newspaper. Holly was an avid reader and writer, enjoyed an impressive vocabulary, crossword puzzles, and loved trivia. She also appreciated traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Holly is survived by her two daughters Gretchen Cutuli and her spouse Joseph of Vernon and Amy Gantner of South Windsor, her stepson Michael Hunt and his spouse Laura Lockhart of Manchester, and four loved and cherished grandchildren, Conor Bradley and his partner Samantha Fowler of Fort Collins, CO., Meaghan Bradley and her partner Nicholas Carlo of Denver, CO., Ian Bradley of New York City, NY., and Joseph C. Cutuli of Allentown, PA., and her niece Carol Sola and partner Karen Pellerin of St. Johnsbury, VT.
Funeral services and burial are private. There are no calling hours. Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home in South Windsor has care of the arrangements.
