Helen M. (Freeman) Lee, 94, of Vernon, beloved Mother, Grandmothe­r,GreatGrand­mother, Sister and friend passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2021. Helen was born on April 8, 1927 in Rochester, NY., one of four loving daughters of the late Carl and Albertine (Schmanke) Freeman. She was raised in Rochester, NY, attended local schools and was a graduate of Irondequoi­t High School. Helen had resided in Vernon for the last

25 years and was an award-winning member of the Tolland County Art Associatio­n. Helen thrived on an active lifestyle that included working in the Milford, CT Hospital's Pathology department as well as cofounder of several companies in the arts, medical and service industries. Prior to retiring she was employed with the Mays Company. She actively pursued watercolor painting and gardening in her free time and was an accomplish­ed cook. She loved to travel and spend time with family. Her positivity and love of family will be forever remembered and deeply missed. She is survived by her four children Michael Lee and his spouse Rachel of

Tappahanno­ck, VA., Samuel Lee and his spouse Kathleen of Vernon, CT, Patricia Allen and her spouse Michael of Hollis, NH., and John Lee and his spouse Kathleen of Southingto­n, CT. Her nine cherished grandchild­ren Justin Lee, Maggie Enoch, Rebecca Lee, Caitlin Lee, Robyn Lee, Tressa Lee, Nicholas Allen, Ciara Allen and Andrew Lee. Six special and loved great-grandchild­ren and many nieces, nephews and their families. In

addition to her parents, she was predecease­d by her three sisters Jane Goodale, Betty Lou Freeman and Ruth Marsolek. Funeral services and burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Vernon are private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may
