Cusson, Doris G.

Doris Gabrielle Lamy Cusson, 91, died peacefully in her sleep on October 11, 2021, at Woodlake at Tolland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was welcomed into heaven by her late husband, Eddie on what would have been their sixty-ninth wedding anniversary.

Born in Waterbury, CT on January 17, 1930, Doris and Eddie married and settled in Glastonbury, CT where they raised their five sons. Doris worked as an administrative assistant, retiring from Citizen's Bank in Glastonbury. In their early retirement years, Doris and Eddie moved to Fort Myers Beach, FL, where several close family members had also retired. Doris enjoyed

the simple pleasure of life; holiday gatherings with family, camping at Cape Cod, square dancing and playing cards. She is survived by Edward and Mylinda Cusson of Windsor, CT, Alan and Jacqueline Cusson of South Windsor, CT, Don and Katherine Cusson of Ellington, CT, Larry and Lynne Cusson of South Windsor, CT, and Robert and Claire Cusson of West Hartford, CT, as well as ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. The entire Cusson family will be forever grateful for her many loving and capable caregivers, whose kindness and attention attributed to Doris' happiness and well-being.

A Mass Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Saint Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes Rd, South Windsor, CT. (In accordance with State Covid Protocols, masks will be required to attend.)
