Robin (Anderson) Dahlmanns, 63, passed away peacefully at home on January 22, 2023, after a long valiant battle with cancer. She was cared for by her devoted life partner Steve Militariu.

She is survived by Steve, his children and granddaugh­ter Joshua, Lauren and Kyla; her son Shawn Nelson and his wife Jennifer of Windsor Locks and their children Brianna and Savannah; daughter-inlaw Rebecca Nelson of South Carolina and daughters Taylor and Ashley; sister-in-law Doris Anderson of Suffield, and siblings Gary Anderson of Windsor and Leah Anderson of Enfield. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews, three of which were very special to her Christine Sirois, Holly Nation and great niece Violet Holcomb. Also dear to her heart were Aunt Alice Millard and cousins Theresa and her twin daughters of NY and Joann Houck of CA. She was predecease­d by her Mother Nancy (Hendricks) Anderson who was very dear to her and her father Warren Anderson; her son James Nelson of Southwick, Mass; siblings Arthur Anderson, Priscilla Wells and John Anderson; and nephews Rick and Kevin Goupee. Robin traveled extensivel­y throughout the US and Europe.

She was an avid music fan and loved going to concerts. She settled in Simsbury and leaves behind two fur babies Lola and Jack. She loved taking them on long walks and spoiling them. They were at her side throughout the fight and saw her over to the other side. Robin was hard pressed to own anything that wasn't purple, she loved the color so much! She grew up in Bloomfield and Windsor and loved connecting with old friends on Facebook. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at UCONN Cancer Center for their excellent care and support.
