Al's favorite times were spent creating memories for over 40 years with family and friends at his home in Point O'Woods Beach, Old Lyme. A loving and kind husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, Al is survived by his daughter, Alysia Perkinson and her husband Ellery; his son, Jon Shesler; his grandson, Ethan Perkinson; his sister, Carol Rowe and her husband Allen; his sister-in-law and identical twin of his late wife, Marie Marks; and his many special nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 11 a.m., at First Church in Windsor, 107 Palisado Ave., Windsor. Burial will follow in Palisado Cemetery.
