Priscilla Marie ( Daigle) Viens, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her l ovi ng f amily on Friday April, 2, 2021 at the age of 93. She was born i n Fort Kent, Maine the daughter of the late Omer and Eva ( Dumont) Daigle; grew up in Lewiston, Maine and moved to the Frog Hollow section of Hartford before settling in Bristol, CT. She has f i nally taken her l ong awaited vacation. Priscilla was predecease­d by her husband, Fernand Viens; her brothers Norman, Stanley, Donald and Maurice Daigle; her sisters Doreen Gagnon and Alice Vaillancou­rt and her granddaugh­ter Aimee (Viens) Millette. She i s survived by her sons and their spouses, Daniel and Cathy Viens, of Bristol, Robert and Louise Viens of TX, Marcel and Claire Viens of Newington, David Viens of Unionville and Donald and Renee Viens of East Hartford; her grandchild­ren, Lauryn and her husband Chris D'Amato of Bristol, Keith and his wife Maura of Bristol, Derrick Viens of Manchester, Erica Viens of Hebron, Jason Viens and his wife Becky of Higganum and Greg Millette of East Hampton; her great-grandchild­ren Matt, Grace, Ben, Luke, Andrew and Olivia of Bristol, Ally and Toby of Higganum, Tyler and Riley of East Hampton; her brothers Bob ( Reynolds) Daigle and his wife Claire of Enfield, Larry Daigle and his wife Anita of Lewiston, Vernon Daigle of Lewiston and Albert ( Junior) Daigle of NH; her sister, Marilyn and her husband Armand Gagnon of Lewiston; her brother-in-law Chuck Gagnon of ME; her special sisters-in-law Diane Viens and Bosha Gordon of Albuquerqu­e, NM, Sue Mangano of Springfiel­d MA, Romelle Daigle of Windsor Locks and Joanne Viens of VT and many nieces and nephews throughout the count r y. The f amily would also l i ke t o acknowledg­e her l oving care givers, Barbara, Laurie, Emma and especially Michelle and a special thank-you to the medical and nursing staff of Bristol Hospital F South, Dr. M. Reyes and her wonderful staff and the Bristol Hospital Hospice Team. Calling hours will be held on Thursday April 8, 2021 at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol from 8 AM until 9:30 AM followed by a procession to St. Matthew Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM t hen t o St. J oseph Cemetery, Bristol.
