Eddie (Pete) Lee Reynolds, 89, of Bloomfield, passed

away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, with his family by his side following a brief illness. Born Jan. 17, 1932, in Eufaula, AL; he was the son of the late Pomie Lee Reynolds and Tinnie Ree Gardner-lewis. Eddie moved to Connecticut with his mother at the age of 4 years old where he resided most of his life. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a proud veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 69 years,

Etta Reynolds; three sons, Dennis Cole (Asuncion) of Bolingbrook, IL, Peter Reynolds (Tracy) of Bloomfield, Steven Reynolds of Bloomfield; three daughters, Denise Cole of Springfield, MA, Cheryl Reynolds of Avon, Bettie Martin (Frederick) of Louisville, KY. A loving devoted granddaughter, Patrice Morris; a sister-in-law, Jeanette Barnes; 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, his

sons, Derrick Reynolds, Sr., Brian Reynolds, Sr., Eddie Lee Reynolds, Jr., Lawrence Cole; an infant daughter Michele Reynolds; his uncle/brother and friend Jake Gardner.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 23, 10 – 11 a.m. followed by a Homegoing Service at 11 a.m. at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, CT.
