Catherine “Kaye” M. (Walsh) Burke, 89 of Newington, passed peacefully into heaven on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Kaye was born in the Bronx, NY, on August 28, 1931, to the late Michael and Rose Walsh. She grew up on 138th Street in the South Bronx and lived there until settling in

Newington in 1959. Kaye worked for Sears and People's United Bank. Upon retirement, she was a volunteer at the Lucy Robbins Wells Library as reading was her true passion. She is predeceased by her devoted husband of 62 years, John “Jack” (April 7, 2020). She leaves behind, her son John and his wife Michele of Forest, VA,

her daughter Karen and her husband Matt D'agostino of North Andover, MA, and three beloved granddaughters, Caroline Burke, and, Sara and Emma D'agostino for whom she would do anything for, especially shopping! She was a very proud Grandmother. She also leaves her sister-in-law Laura Burke and nieces, Lori Rohrback and Patricia Burke. She was also predeceased by her brother, Michael Walsh and sisters Doris and Marion Walsh. The family would like to thank the staff of Ashland Farms, North Andover, MA, for the exceptional care they gave Kaye and Jack since moving there four years ago. A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life for Kaye and Jack will be held at St Mary's Church, 626 Willard Ave., Newington, on Monday, August 9th at 10:00 am with burial immediately following in the West
