Jaclyn “Jackie” Corbeil. Jaclyn Corbeil of Newington, passed away on August 15, 2021. She was born on August 5, 1937 in Holyoke Mass, to the late Richard and Helen Polmatier. Jaclyn was predecease­d by her husband Arthur J Corbeil Jr. Jaclyn was a graduate of the Holyoke School of Nursing and earned her Bachelor degree from Central Connecticu­t State University in 1982. She would then become an RN in the Commonweal­th of Massachuse­tts and practiced in New Jersey and Connecticu­t. She left nursing to become the Democratic Register of Voters in Newington. She would then become employed by Yale University as a researcher until her retirement. Some of Jackie's interests included being involved in Girl Scouts, attending various theaters throughout Connecticu­t, spending time with her granddaugh­ters and was an avid reader. She is survived by a brother Richard Polmatier and his wife Janice of Fort Valley Georgia, and a sister Marianne Polmatier and her partner Mary Croft of Easthampto­n, MA. She leaves behind her children Barbara Lezon and her husband Michael of Broad Brook, a son Arthur Corbeil III of New Britain,

and Richard and his wife Lisa of Meriden. Also, she leaves three grandchild­ren Victoria and her husband Anthony Citerella of Broad Brook, Anna and her husband Thomas Ryan of Meriden, Sara and her husband Nicholas Demartin of Meriden and great grandson Salvatore George. The Corbeil family would like to

thank A&D Home Health Services, Uconn ED and Hospital, Vitas Hospice and Newington Rapid Recovery. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Friends of the Lucy Robbins Wells Library.
