Jonathan Frank Cartelli, 25, of Rocky Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at home. He was born in Middletown, the beloved son of John F. Cartelli of Melbourne, FL. and Shawne
K. (Sambitsky) Cartelli of Rocky Hill. Jonathan was a sweet, loving boy whose smile will be remembered by all who loved him. He enjoyed simple pleasures in life, such as holidays with family, mom's home cooked meals, his cat Midnight, video games, roller coasters, music and the freedom and exhilaration he felt riding motorcycles. He was taken from this earth far too soon so we never had a chance to see the man he was meant to become. We will miss so many of life's special moments with Jonathan, moments that bond families, create memories and make life worth living. The void in our hearts from his passing will never be filled. It's impossible to imagine a life without our son. We will think of him and love him every day until we die. We look forward to seeing him again and pray he is in a better place. May God take Jonathan's soul and allow him to Rest in Peace. Besides his parents, Jonathan is survived by a sister, Ashley Rapetski and her husband Michael of Cheshire; his nephews, Jack and Aleksander Rapetski; maternal grandmother, Nancy Neves of Cromwell; paternal grandparents, Francesco and Filomena Cartelli of Cromwell. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday (August 26, 2021) from 5 to 7 PM at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (August 27, 2021) at 10 AM in the St. Josephine Bakhita Parish at St. James Church, 767 Elm St. Rocky Hill. Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
