Pulito, Anna Jean (Rolfe)
Anna Jean (Rolfe) Pulito, 89, of Rocky Hill, beloved wife of Daniel N. Pulito, passed away on Wednesday (September 1, 2021) at Hartford Hospital. She was born in New London, the daughter of Ernest and Margaret (Doran) Rolfe. Anna graduated from Chapman Technical School in New London and the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing. She enjoyed her career in nursing and retired from the Veteran's Home and Hospital in Rocky Hill. She possessed a strong faith and she was a devoted congregant of St. James Church in Rocky Hill.
She will always be remembered as being a strong, caring and independent individual and was the matriarch and cornerstone of our family.
Besides her husband of 67 years, Daniel, she leaves behind her five loving daughters, Julie Capetta and her husband John of Downington, PA, Lin Polito and her husband Paul Shima of New York, NY, Mary Attanasio
and her husband Carmine of Rocky Hill, Nancy Pulito of Newington, and Anne-marie Lonski and her husband John of Wethersfield; a brother, James Rolfe and his wife Polly of Niantic; nine grandchildren, Christine and Joe Dorn, August and Cory Mccarthy Rose, Allyson and Whit Leyenberger, Michael Attanasio and Sally Punch, Lauren and Tim Mintel, Sean Pulito, Olivia Lonski, Owen Lonski, and Violet Lonski; four great-grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Maverick, Henry and Walter; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Rolfe and Ernest Rolfe.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday (September 7, 2021) at 10 AM in St. Josephine Bakhita Parish, at St. James Church, 767 Elm St. Rocky Hill. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church.
Due to town guidelines, MASKS MUST BE WORN during all indoor portions of the funeral service.
