Hendrichus, Pieter Paul

Pieter Hendrichus, 54, formerly of Hartford, CT passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, in Miami, Florida. Pieter was born October 15, 1966, in Trinidad and Tobago before immigrating to the United States at a young age. As a Weaver High School Beaver (Hartford, CT), Pieter was a star student-athlete, usually placing at the top of his classes and the Track and Field podium. Pieter was selected as a 1985-1986 CIAC Student Athlete of the Year. Pieter later matriculated to Providence College in Rhode Island on a full scholarship, graduating in 1991. Here he had the opportunity to explore his love for technology and engineering. Pieter went on to become a premier software engineer, a specialist in information systems, ultimately leading him to start his own successful company Fusion Solutions, LLC. Pieter found great joy in traveling to all corners of the world, all while making a myriad of friends along the way. No matter where in the world Pieter traveled, he always made sure to make it back home to Trinidad and Tobago for his beloved carnival. Pieter will be sorely missed by his children Crystal Langaigne (Florida), Alexis Hendrichus (Massachusetts), Pieter Hendrichus II (Florida), Sydney Hendrichus (Florida), and Xavier Hendrichus (Florida). Mother Marie Paul of Bloomfield, CT, sister Jonelle Reed (Virginia), extended family, and countless cherished friends.
