Elizabeth Lorraine (Suchecki) Dwyer, 90, of New Jersey, formerly of Avon, wife of the late Robert P. Dwyer, Sr., died Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was born October 1, 1930 in New Haven, daughter of the late John and Rose (Lis) Suchecki, and had lived in Avon prior to moving to New Jersey 12 years ago to be closer to family. Having been raised in New Haven, she was

a graduate of Commercial High School. Mrs. Dwyer worked in various supervisor­y and clerical positions for IBM as well as for Marlin Firearms prior to her retirement. While in Avon, she was a member of the Church

of Saint Ann, where she was a member of the Women's Guild, and also served as a Eucharist Minister. She was a member of the Avon Garden Club and volunteere­d at The Arc of the Farmington Valley, in Canton. Liz was

a member of St. Benedict's, in Holmdel, while in New Jersey. She was a meticulous homemaker whose life centered around her family and her faith.

She is survived by her sister, Jeanne Danielson and her husband Albert of St. Petersburg, FL; her brother-inlaw, Francis Dwyer of West Haven; her daughter, Sharyn Liberator and her husband Paul of Lewes, DE; her sons: Robert P. Dwyer Jr. and his wife, Patricia of Wayne, PA;

Dwight Dwyer and his wife Susan of Blythewood, SC and Timothy Dwyer of Costa Mesa, CA; her grandchild­ren,

Courtney Elizabeth Beeker and her husband Michael, Robert P. Dwyer, III and his wife Ashley, Michael Dwyer, Cole Liberator and his wife Sheena, Alyx Liberator and Rylie Liberator; her great grandchild­ren, Avery Elizabeth Beeker and Addison Beeker, Lucca and Kai Liberator

and Andrew and William Dwyer and several nieces and nephews. She was predecease­d by her brother, John Suchecki, and by nine sisters, Henrietta Tracz, Stacia Wolcheski, Stella Belcher, Helen Adams, Rose Burness, Dorothy Smith, Florence Paul, Josephine Kosack and Leanore Lane.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 11th at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road in Avon. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Avon.
