Luisa Macaro, 91, of Farmington, passed away

peacefully at home on Sunday, December 19, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born on March 25, 1930 in Lenola Italy, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Lauretti) Marrocco. Luisa was the loving wife of the late Costantino Macaro. Luisa and some of her family survived the World War II bombings in Italy. Later in 1971, she moved to the United States for her family to have a better life. Luisa was an active member of St. Patrick Church in Farmington and volunteere­d her culinary skills often at New Horizons Village and at the Farmington Senior Center. She was an excellent cook and specifical­ly was known for her famous pasta and meatballs. Over all Luisa was committed to her family and was proud of her children, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. Luisa is survived by her sons Fernando “Fred” Macaro and his wife Nancy, Dionigi “Dennis” Macaro and his wife Gemma, Giuseppe “Joe” Macaro and his wife Martene; daughter Maria Macaro; grandchild­ren Gabriella, Fernando, Matthew, Adrianna, Isabella, Marissa, Kevin, Jonathan; nine great-grandchild­ren; brother Benito Marrocco and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Luisa is predecease­d by her grandson Jared Macaro and many siblings. A funeral will be held directly at St. Matthew Church, 120 Church Ave., Bristol for an 11Am Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Riverside
