Abraham (Abe) Tsarfaty, age 87, formerly of Port Saint Lucie, FL, West Hartford, CT and Tel Aviv Israel, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021. Cherished son of the late Joseph and Leah (Yosha) Tsarfaty of Monastir

(Bitola) Macedonia. Loving father of Eyal Tsarfaty and his wife, Marisol of Jacksonvil­le, FL. and Vered Tsarfaty and her husband, Donald Verrecchia of Wayland, MA

and the late Lilit (Hila) Hazan. Beloved Grandfathe­r of Tal Meron, Eli Hazan, Liat Tsarfaty, Sarit Arman and Ian Verrecchia. Dear brother of Moshe, Shmuel, Yakov and the late Rachel Yosha and Haim. Abraham also leaves behind nine great grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews.

Abe was born in 1934 in Jerusalem and grew up in Tel Aviv where he served in the Israeli army and worked as an electricia­n for many years. He moved to the United States in 1965 with a fourth-grade education and a desire to live the American dream. By the late 1970s he owned his own retail clothing store (Abe's Fashions) which became a shopping destinatio­n for local families in downtown Hartford. In the 1990s he retired to Port St. Lucie, FL and most recently moved back north to

Massachuse­tts to be closer to his children.

Graveside services will be held at the Roxbury Mutual Cemetery, 19 Washington Street, Woburn, MA on Monday, December 27th at 11:00AM. Shiva to be announced. Attendees at the service and shiva must be masked.
