Utter, Barron E.

Barron E. Utter, 62, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Norman Utter and Joan (Hopkins) Courtright. Barron was employed by CIGNA as a Technical Support Advisor. He was on the Stafford Recreation Commission for many years, and was a member of the Italian Benefit Society. Barron was the president/coordinator and a coach for Stafford Youth Softball for many years. One of his proudest moments was having

“Utter Field” at Hyde Park named after him for his dedication and service to the program. Barron is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Kathy (Butler) Utter; two daughters, Kelly Utter and her partner Ian Learned, and Tori Ford and her husband Tim; his grandson to be; brother, Don Utter and his wife Randa; step mother, Jan Utter; step brother, John Mcguire; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Roger and Lynn Butler, and Doreen and Kevin Dietz; nieces and nephews, Tyler and Erika Dietz, Brian Butler, and Tara and Dave Middleton. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Utter; step brother, Steve Mcguire; and nephew, Garrett Dietz. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 3-6 P.M., with a funeral service to take place at 6 P.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St.,
