Stephen Vernal Rushford, 68, of Enfield, passed away peacefully at home the morning of Dec. 28, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Steve was a man who lived life to the fullest; loved his family and friends, Harleys, TV game shows and his black coffee. He was always quick with a joke and often had the room filled with laugher. Steve was an accomplished electrician with the IBEW Local 90. He was also a proud AA member and celebrated over 25 years of sobriety. While working the program he met some of his best friends and tales of their adventures are legendary. After recovering from a life changing brain aneurism in 2006, Steve became a favorite speaker within his Traumatic Brain Injury group. He especially looked forward to speaking annually at Bay Path College about his recovery in order to educate students going into the medical profession.

Above all else, Steve loved his family and truly treasured his grandchildren. He was a fixture at every game, recital, BMX race and school event as well as being known for reading the same book as many times as requested. Steve leaves behind his mother Janis, his siblings Nancy (Rushford) Krach, Timothy Rushford, his

sons Christopher and Todd, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. “Steve's Adventures” will truly be missed.
