Mozafar Karimeddin­i, M.D., 75, of Bristol passed away peacefully on January 22, 2022. He

was born in Sirjan, Kerman, Iran on March 22, 1946, to Dr. Shoja Karimeddin­i and Eshrat Pooladi. Moz attended medical school in Tehran, Iran, and immigrated to the United States in 1973. He completed his medical training at

Lawrence General Hospital, where he met his future wife, Pamela Ripley. After getting married, he and Pam moved to Ontario, Canada, where he completed a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine. Upon moving back to the United States, he practiced in Nuclear Medicine at UCONN Health for over 40 years. He was a longtime member and faithful attender of Farmington Avenue Baptist Church in West Hartford. He was known to all for his gracious spirit and generous heart. He is survived by his mother Eshrat Pooladi; his

children Sara Swanger (and Tony) of Enfield, David Karimeddin­i (and Jessica) of Avon, Steven Khajekarim­eddini (and Eden) of Maryland, Mary Carter (and Josh) of Ohio, and Peter Karimeddin­i of Bristol; his grandchild­ren Ariana, Micah, Lylah, Norah, Avah, Lukah, Olyvia, Matthew, Esther, Nathan, and Ruthanna; his siblings Hesameddin, Ziaeddin, Shahin, Shahla, Moezeddin, and Fereshteh. He was predecease­d by his father in 1974 and his beloved wife Pamela in 2019. Moz's family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 2 to 4 PM at Farmington Avenue Baptist Church, 155 Mountain Road, West Hartford, CT 06107.
