Robert “Kenny” Alford, 60, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband to Marie (Miller) Alford, passed away unexpected­ly on Monday, May 30, 2022. Kenny was born on July 16, 1961, in Hartford, the loving son to the late Lavern and Helen (Sellers) Alford. He enjoyed a long career of 21 years with Windsor Airmotive in East Granby as an expeditor. Kenny spent the last 16 years of his career as the maintenanc­e supervisor for SHP Management where he oversaw the Fresh Water Pond Apartments in Enfield and was always quick to lend a hand to everyone who needed his assistance and handy work. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed old cars. As a jack of all trades, Kenny was often found fixing and working on small engines and equipment and taking on any projects to help his family, friends or neighbors. His kind heart and warm personalit­y made it easy for him to befriend and respect everyone he met throughout life’s journey. Above all, Kenny was a true family man and his biggest joy was the time spent with his beloved wife, two daughters whom he cherished and his many extended family members. In addition to his wife of 39 years, Marie, Kenny is survived by his daughters, Kaitlynn and Megan Alford, both of Windsor Locks; siblings, Hazel Pizzaro (John) of Agawam, MA, Rocky Alford (Jane) of

Windsor Locks, Dayton Alford (Anita) of Bolton, Bobby Alford (Karen) of East Windsor, and Sheila Warzyski (Michael) of Enfield. He is also survived by a brother-inlaw, Tom Traygis of Manchester, his four legged companions, Mishuu, Zeus, and Bella, grand-dogs, Zara and Kali, his grand-cat who he adored, Bella, and many nieces and nephews. Kenny was predecease­d by a sister, Sandra Traygis. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for calling hours on Sunday, June 5, 2022, from 4-8 pm at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks, CT. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Enfield Street Cemetery.
