Jane-helen Ross, 96 of Wethersfield, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022. She was born in Hartford,

CT to the late William and Ann Fischer Crook Smith. Jane-helen graduated class of 1943, salutatorian of Wethersfield High School. She attended Hillyer College and retired from Hartford Insurance Group after 38 years of service as an executive assistant. She was a

member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Wethersfield, serving on various committees including; senior warden, minister of communion, president of Women’s Club, president of Wethersfield Square Dance Club, president of Wethersfield Chapter AARP, co-chairman of Wethersfield Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, co-chairman of Wethersfield Friends of V.N.A., volunteer with Wethersfield Historical Society as well as a

member of the Eastern Star.

Jane-helen is predeceased by her husband, Robert S. Ross and her daughter, Pamela Jane Ross. She leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl Ann Chadsey and her husband Mark; granddaughter, Heidi Viola and her husband Paul; great grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Marek, Brianna Sydney Narducci, Paul David Viola III, Shawna Viola, Jaydon Viola and Tucker Viola.

The family will receive friends and relatives Monday, June 06, 2022 at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill, CT from 5-7PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church 300 Main St. Wethersfield, CT, Tuesday, June 07, 2022 at 10AM with burial to follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to Trinity Episcopal Church, 300 Main St. Wethersfield, CT 06109.
