Avicolli, Richard Joseph

Richard Joseph Avicolli, 82, of Lebanon, NH, formerly of Quechee, VT and West Hartford, CT died peacefully on June 7th, 2022 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with his family by his side. Richard was the beloved husband of Jeanne (Tesik) Avicolli. He was born on March 8th, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, first son of Dominic and Margaret (Irrera) Avicolli. He attended Monsignor Bonner High School and Villanova University in Philadelphia. In his professional career, he worked as a salesman for Oscar Meyer, President of Copral Imports, Life Insurance Specialist for Allstate Insurance, and most recently founder and owner of Hilltop Financial Services in Quechee, VT. As a young man, Richard was very athletic, playing baseball and softball and was a lifelong sports fan. He also enjoyed reading books and watching documentaries about history, most especially The American Civil War and World War II. In retirement, he enjoyed many years of golf and respectful debate on American politics with close friends at the Quechee Club in Quechee, VT. Richard was predeceased by his parents, his brother Robert (Bobby), and his daughter Karen Share. In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his children Denise Avicolli of CT, Michael Avicolli (Tracy) of CT, and Elizabeth Avicolli (Isaac Carty) of Vermont; his grandchildren Alex Share of South Carolina, Katherine Share of CT, Grace Carty of Vermont, and Dominic and Anthony Avicolli of CT; his brother Anthony (Pauline) of Pennsylvania; along with several loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
