Adeline Aldo Tebano of Glastonbur­y, CT, formerly of Hamden, CT, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was the wife of the late Joseph Tebano. She was born in Puglianell­o, Italy on April 25, 1926 to the late Andrew and Immacolata Mongillo Aldo. She was predecease­d by her brother, Mr. Frank Aldo.

Adeline lived an extraordin­ary life. A loving and giving wife, mother, aunt, and friend she enjoyed a long career as a profession­al seamstress, throughout which

she was known for her immense talent with intricate, detailed designs. Adeline was widely recognized in her community for her diligence, dedication, and her artistry in the culinary arts as well as sewing. In her quiet and unassuming way, she was the thread, vital and strong, that knit her family and social circle together. Adeline is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Anna Micci (Matthew Micci); son, Mr. Angelo Tebano (Laurie Tebano); her five loving grandchild­ren, Dr. Elizabeth Micci, Mrs. Andrea Grogan (Matthew Grogan), Mr. Joseph Tebano, Ms. Eleni Tebano, and Mr. Frank Tebano; as well as her sister-in-law, Mrs. Anna Marie Aldo, nephew Mr. Andrew Aldo (Cynthia Aldo), and niece Mrs. Immacolata Canelli (Robert Canelli) with whom she shared a home for over twenty years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday September 22nd at 10:00AM in St. Paul VI Parish at St. Rita Church, 1620 Whitney Avenue in Hamden. Entombment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted and to please consider a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America at alzfdn.org.
