Patsky, Judith C (Conner)

- Please sign guestbook at courant.com/obituaries

It is with great sadness that we write of the passing of Judith Conner Patsky. After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Judy passed away at home peacefully on January 29th, with her family by her side. The daughter of the late William and Mary Conner of Windsor CT. Judy was a loving wife to John for 62 years, mother to Deb Patsky (Cindy Patsky-woods) of Portsmouth NH, Mark Patsky (Sandideceased) of Colorado Springs, CO, Matt Patsky (Jun Untalan) of Boston, MA and Donna Berozsky-grabowski (John) of Enfield. Grandmother to Jason (Andriya), Jennifer (deceased), Ryan Patsky, Nicole and Eric Berozsky, CJ and Christy Woods, Stephen, Jeff (Beth), Cody and Spenser Grabowski and great grandmother to Dakota, Isabelle and Ella Patsky. And many loving nieces and nephews. She was also one of the infamous Conner sisters. She could be seen on cape vacations, or shopping sprees….or just out for ice cream with her sisters Jeanne Wahl (Barry) Enfield and Beth Novak (Ed) Somers. They were inseparable, sisters and best friends. She also leaves her brother Bill Conner (Joanne) of Phoenix Arizona, who will forever be her little brother.

Judy was a friend to all. She was a bank teller for many years, retiring from Fleet Bank in South Windsor. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Family Church for over 58 years and worked with the CCD program. She was also a Eucharistic Minister for many years and only retired from her role when her illness would no longer allow her to continue. Judy was also very passionate about her volunteer work with St Vincent De Paul at Holy Family Church.

She and John had a wonderful life, meeting in CYO in Windsor CT. She would become a part of the Patsky clan being a “big sister” to her brothers-in-laws Ray (deceased) and Charlie and sister in-laws Irene and Mary. Marrying in 1960 and in 1961 welcoming their first child. They raised their 4 children and their granddaughter in Enfield.

Judy loved spending time at the cape, cruising and visiting family in Colorado and Arizona. In her early years Judy could be seen in hockey rinks or on baseball fields. No matter what the event she was always there to support her children in whatever activities they were doing….and in later years her grandchildren. Anyone that knew Judy knows that she is already up in heaven. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. Saw the good in all, was a kind soul, and often tried to see both sides of any conflict that arose.

We are grateful for her devoted caregiver, Ashley Keeley, who was by her side for the past four years and lovingly provided comfort and exceptional care. And to her hospice nurse, Eileen Markowski, who provided incredible guidance and support to both Judy and her family.

Services will be held at Holy Family Church on Simon Road in Enfield CT on Saturday February 11th at 10am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to St Vincent De Paul at Holy Family Church, Enfield CT or Alzheimer's Foundation.
