Robin (Smith) Breton, 68, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2023. She was born to the late Wallace and Victoria (Woodcock) Smith on January 23, 1955, in Hartford, CT. Robin grew up in Hartford, graduating from Hartford High School in 1973. She worked for Transporta­tion Security Administra­tion for over 19 years before retiring in November of 2021. Robin cherished her family and friends and had a passion for crafting, always creating new decoration­s or gifts to share. Her greatest pride was her precious grandchild­ren, whom she loved spending time with and spoiling. Robin is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joe Breton, her son, Joseph Breton Jr. and his wife Kamila and their children Joey & Ella, of South Windsor, and her daughter Kimberly Breton and her husband Luke Macdonald and their children, Ryder & Vivian, of Ellington. Robin is also survived by her sisters, Joann Martin and her husband Bert of South Windsor, and Patricia Cyr of Coventry, her sister-in-law Elaine Santos and her husband Andy of East Hartford, many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends whose love and support gave her strength. Robin was predecease­d by her sisters Jackie Eldred, Barbara Cyr and Sharon Nadeau. Visitation will be held on March 8, 2023, 5pm-7pm, at the Samsel and Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held March 9, 2023, 10am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 80 Hayes St., South Windsor. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
