“Hartford Federal Credit Union Gives 2023 is an investment in the communities we serve and in organizations that support those most in need. We are pleased to kick off this vital new program,” said Ed Danek, president & CEO of Hartford Federal Credit Union, in a statement.

“We had our most successful year at Hartford Federal in 2022 and are positioned to help more people than ever before,” he said.

The credit union is in its 62nd year and “coming off record-breaking 2022 operating results,” according to the organization.

“We view this as not only the right thing to do, but also a way to give back to communities that have fostered our success for over six decades,” he said.

“When you support those in need—as we do on a daily basis with offerings like no-fee checking, financial literacy counseling, and credit education seminars— you enhance the general well-being of the entire community.”
