- Please sign guestbook at courant.com/obituaries

Jeremy T. Berasi, 49, of Newington, Ct, unexpectedly passed away on 11/10/23. Jeremy was born in Exeter, NH to Ray and Bonnie Berasi. He attended Sheehan High School, in Wallingford and graduated in 1992. Jeremy was athletic and a standout soccer player. After high school, he attended Central CT State University and double majored in English and Psychology.

Jeremy worked in the aerospace industry for over 12 years. He worked at Cametoid Technologies, Hanwha Aerospace, and most recently Phoenix Manufacturing Inc. He worked hard and achieved Level III NDT Inspector.

Jeremy connected with his wife, Lisa Kostick, on Facebook a few years ago. They had attended 8th-12th grade together, and graduated from Sheehan in 1992. Their first date was 10/22/16 right before his favorite holiday, Halloween. As they drove passed The Mill on the River restaurant, Jeremy had told Lisa he had hoped to get married there one day. Jeremy and Lisa were married there on 5/25/19.

Jeremy has a son, Nico, 14. Jeremy was a wonderful father who taught his son to cook, how to treat females, his love of hard rock (Iron Maiden, Pantera), and started to show him how to fix cars. Jeremy and Nico watched hundreds of movies together. Quoting movie lines was a sport in our house.

He and his brothers spent hours laughing and teasing their parents. Laughter was no stranger to their family. Switching sugar for salt at the dining room table wasn't uncommon nor was tormenting their mother on April Fool's Day.

Jeremy is survived by his wife, Lisa Kostick, son Nico Berasi, parents, Ray and Bonnie Berasi, older brother Jason Berasi and wife Jeanine, younger brother Matt Bersai and wife Anissa. He has several nieces and nephews Ryan, Gabby, Cason, Noah, Zac and Eliza. Jeremy is also survived by his Aunt Sharon Devoe, his Uncle Louis Berasi and his cousins Christopher Devoe and Jonathan Devoe.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at The Mill on the River restaurant. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Gofundme under Jeremy Berasi for his son at https://gofund.me/1a184409.
