I have arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and trigger finger. I muck stalls five times a week for five equines. My orthopedist, who’s a horse owner, suggested I wear bicycle gloves for mucking and other barn chores. What a difference! The padding at the base of the fingers protects the nerve endings. I adjust the gloves to fit snugly, so my wrists are supported. The gloves are fingerless, so I have the dexterity necessary to fasten halter buckles, open/close clips, and use my cell phone.
