Realtor considers representing clients an ‘honor’
Kelly McDonald, a Realtor with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, has a diverse background in a number of industries. However, they all had one thing in common: they all were focused on people.
McDonald is a native Texan, from a small town in East Texas. She attended Texas A&M University in Commerce. Her love for sales developed early and she learned from watching her father and grandfather, who worked many years for the Ford Motor Co., that the customer is always right.
Prior to her success in real estate, McDonald worked in the title business, an ideal springboard for real estate. Her background also includes international work experience in London and South Korea, where she developed written and verbal skills in Ko- rean. She also worked for a major cruise line in Hawaii. She said that her experiences living and moving overseas gave her a special affinity for and expertise in assisting relocation clients.
“I am also very proud of my past work as a middle school and high school basketball and track coach. I consider leading and mentoring teenagers a great honor and responsibility,” McDonald said.
McDonald is known for being a very hard-working, market-savvy Realtor, an excellent negotiator, and someone with a keen ability to match buyers with the perfect home.
She is equally proficient in advising sellers how to prepare their homes to garner the best price. She is also known for her integrity, personal customer service, being energetic and her professional ethics.
“I consider representing my clients in the purchase or sale of a home a tremendous honor and a serious responsibility,” McDonald said.
McDonald’s main focus areas are The Woodlands and Magnolia. She calls Magnolia home and is very active in the community.
“I absolutely love my job. I have been in the real estate industry for 13 years. My clients attest to my ability to work smart. I am efficient and take pride in never wasting a client’s valuable time,” McDonald said.
