Jeremy Fain’s music skills paying off in real estate
Jeremy Fain, Realtor with Greenwood King Properties, has a wealth of experience from living in a host of cities around the country, traveling the world, and his education.
“I grew up out west in Midland, Texas. I completed my undergraduate degree in Lubbock, my master’s degree in Rochester, New York, and post-graduate work in Los Angeles, California. I have lived in Europe and Mexico, as well playing in professional orchestras around the globe,” Fain said.
He also taught music at UT-Tyler, Stephen F. Austin and Lone Star College Houston.
Fain played the bassoon, a woodwind instrument in the double reed family. He continues to play today for his own enjoyment.
Fain’s life was about classical music, prior to real estate. Skills from music translate into real estate very well.
“Fine tuning the skills it takes to win an audition with 250 other applicants is something that cannot be replaced.
The patience, work ethic, perseverance is something that continue to carry with me and will throughout my life, and is something that has paid off in real estate,” Fain said.
Fain specializes in customer service, and is known for his professional and listening skills.
“Most successful conversations happen when I have listened, and not said a word. That is when I learn what clients’ goals are, and what I need to do to meet those goals,” Fain said.
Fain has been in real estate for three years. However, given all he has experienced and accomplished, he is an “old hand” at real estate.
He knows the market, stays up-to-date on trends and neighborhoods.
Plus, after seven years in Houston, he loves the city, which is a motivator to enjoy all the city has to offer, which he shares with his clients.
“I chose real estate because I love to be challenged, I love to work hard and I love people. Working hard is something that has been in my blood from a very young age,” Fain said.
Fain is personable and he relates to people from all walks of life, which comes from his vast experiences.
“We are all very fortunate to live in a historically stable real estate market without huge spikes and dips like other markets. Houston hovers consistently in the middle, which is reassuring,” Fain said.
Fain’s focus areas is from Memorial to West University and from River Oaks to Tanglewood.
“I work with clients all over Houston, because each one is individually important,” he said.
“It takes someone who understands the different specialized markets for clients to be successful in today’s market.”
Fain is a member of the Top Producer Club at Greenwood King. He also received the top 20 under 40 agents award by Houston Association of Realtors.
He is also an Accredited Luxury Home Specialist and a Leading Relocation Specialist.
