Energy companies have slashed thousands of jobs amid the oil price crash. Here are some of the recent layoffs and the dates they were disclosed. These numbers aren’t total layoffs for the companies unless otherwise indicated.

BP: 4,000 upcoming cuts this year

Schlumberg­er: 10,000 during the fourth quarter of 2015 Southweste­rn Energy Co.: 1,100 upcoming

Royal Dutch Shell: 2,200 to bring the its total layoffs to 12,500 by year-end
