Johnson keeps up with ever-changing market
When it comes to experience in real estate, Sue Johnson, a Realtor with Heritage Texas Properties, has that covered with more than 45 years in the industry.
Her experience working in fluctuating markets over the years has given her the knowledge, insight, understanding and skills that continue to make her one of the top Realtors in her focus areas, which are Galveston and Tiki Island.
“Experience is an absolute must in this business, as long as you keep up with the times and the ever-changing market, which is something I ensure I do,” Johnson said.
Johnson loves her adopted home on Galveston Island.
“I love Galveston Island, and I wish we had moved here sooner. It is calm and serene, and the water adds to the wonderful environment. I simply love this area and am thrilled to share it with all who come and want to explore it for their second, vacation and/or permanent home,” Johnson said.
After college, Johnson married and moved to Big Springs because her husband was in the military.
“When we bought our first house, the Realtor we worked with convinced me I would make a good agent, so I went to work for her and never looked back,” Johnson said.
Moreover, Johnson has been a manager, co-owner and owner of her own firm. She also has been a relocation director for several companies as her husband was transferred to different areas.
“I was very involved in corporate relocation for many years that took me to many different areas in the country to help some of America’s largest corporations and their transferees,” Johnson said. Johnson hales from a small town, Pilot Point, near Dallas, and has lived in Galveston almost two decades. She is known for her desire to help people in any and every way she can. She is friendly, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and walks with her clients through the process. Her clients say she is always in a good mood and happy, which they appreciate.
In additional to her broker’s license and Certified Relocation Professional designation, she is also a Graduate, Realtors Institute.
“I love the real estate industry, meeting new people, showing off the Galveston area, but most of all, I love my clients and am honored to work with each and every one,” Johnson said.
