THE NEXT DETROIT?

“As the oil industry continues its decline, so will Houston. It took 10 years to recover from the 1980s crash. In today’s world, with an over abundance of oil and gas, ever increasing availability of renewable energy, hybrid and electric vehicles, and green construction, without massive diversification in the local economy, I just don’t see are covery for Houston this time.It won’t become another Detroit, but Houston will become stagnant like many other large cities. Population will dwindle and the infrastructure will start to crumble as tax revenues disappear. It’s already happening.”

... AND WE LIKED IT

“I actually kind of liked it. I like the two-seat side.No middle seat. I also thought it was a quiet aircraft and flew pretty smoothly. Of course, it’s been along, long time since I’ ve flow none since I’m a Continental, oops, United flier, so I haven’t noticed the cramped quarters that all planes now have.”

TOSS EGGS AT THE RICH

“I like reading about all the towers going up in my area which ultimately increase my property’s value. But this one makes me sick. How empty are these super rich people who need 4,820 sq. ft. and 2 corner terraces to make them feel good about themselves? I just want togo throw eggs at them, and I’ m normally a nice person.”
