BALTIMORE ORIOLES

Six members of the team have now hit 20 or more home runs so far this season.

They become the first club to accomplish that feat since the Toronto Blue Jays had seven members do so during the 2010 season.

CHICAGO CUBS

After Friday’s game, Jon Lester has now gone at least five no-hit innings 13 times in his career, which tops all active major league pitchers.

LOS ANGELES DODGERS

Top prospect Jose De Leon will make his bigleague debut on Sunday against the San Diego Padres.

De Leon was 7-1 with a 2.61 ERA in 16 starts for Class AAA Oklahoma City while limiting opposing batters to a .194 average. He struck out 111 batters against just 20 walks this season.

De Leon,24, was taken 24th in the 2013 draft out of Southern University.

NEW YORK YANKEES

Rookie RHP Chad Green has a sprained throwing elbow and is likely done for the season.

Green said Saturday that he doesn’t think he will need surgery. He will see a doctor in New York on Monday.

Manager Joe Girardi said he isn’t expecting Green to return this year. Girardi said he would “play it by ear” in terms of determining his starting rotation going forward.

Green is 2-4 with a 4.73 ERA over 12 games.

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS

Nearly 13 years after he was traded away, Joe Nathan is back with the team.

The club promoted the 41-year-old RHP from Class AAA before Saturday’s game against the Cubs.

Nathan was a sixthround pick of the team in 1995 and began his career as a starter before moving to the bullpen.

Nathan has appeared in only four major league games the past two seasons after a second Tommy John surgery.

Manager Bruce Bochy says the team plans to use Nathan in the sixth and seventh innings.

To make room on the roster, the team recalled RHP Ray Black, and put him on the 60-day DL.
