Realtor of the week: Garrison focuses on high-rise properties

- By Rebecca Maitland HOMES CORRESPONDENT

After working in the residential real estate industry, Alicia Garrison is now focused on one property.

“The Revere at River Oaks, which will be completed in 2018, is a boutique condominium consisting of 33 residences,” Garrison said.

Garrison is from Houston, and went to college at University of Texas, Austin. After college she lived in Dallas, New York and south Texas, due to her husband’s job. The couple returned to call Houston home in 2001.

In New York, she had the opportunity to see the benefits of living in a mid- or high-rise, which is a growing trend in Houston. Garrison is thrilled to be in what some call the newest trend in residential living.

“At the Revere, I have the opportunity to continue working with clients as I did in residential homes, which I thoroughly enjoy. It is the main reason I joined the real estate industry. I like people and I have the opportunity to add value to their lives in helping them purchase a quality home,” Garrison said. “Each condominium offers 2,623 to 3,789 square feet and many amenities such as one level luxury, lock-and-leave living, 24/7 concierge, valet, porter, and beautiful skyline views.”

However, there are some differences in working in residential homes and at the Revere

“In residential homes, the clients and I would go to the home and review it. At the Revere, I show interested clients a presentation. We just recently began setting appointments,” Garrison said.

“I am proud to be working with Pelican Builders, and to present this wonderful new mid-rise to the River Oaks community,” Garrison said.
