Weekley’s Roth model open in Elyson
Featuring 10-foot ceilings, an outdoor living area and a workshop, David Weekley’s one-story Roth model is now open in Elyson, a new community in the Katy Independent School District.
A four-bedroom model with an open family room, kitchen and dining area, the Roth joins a growing list of model homes opening their doors to early visitors in advance of Elyson’s official grand opening on Oct. 15.
With 2,681 square feet, the Roth represents a collection of 12 David Weekley plans offered in Elyson, with prices starting in the $330,000s. It includes a study, a built-in backpack rack, and a workshop or storage area in the two-car garage. The Roth offers an optional upstairs bonus room with an extra bath.
The kitchen has a large food-prep island and serving bar. Standard kitchen features include granite countertops, 42-inch upper cabinets, and stainless-steel appliances.
David Weekley has four showcase homes under construction in Elyson, including two Roth plans. They are expected to be complete by late fall.
Elyson also offers new homes priced from the mid$200,000s to $600,000s by Chesmar, Darling, Highland, Perry, Pulte, Trendmaker and Westin.
This weekend, Elyson visitors can get a sneak peek at Rorick House, the community’s first recreational amenity. Opening next week, Rorick House will include the Elyson visitor welcome center and the Rorick Kitchen cafe.
Located at Grand Parkway and FM 529, Elyson is a 3,642-acre community.
Elyson students attend Katy ISD’s new Bethke Elementary. A new high school and middle school will open next to Bethke in 2017, and Elyson students are expected to be zoned to these schools.
