Elyson has 10 models to tour ahead of Oct. 22 grand opening
Elyson, a new community in the Katy Independent School District, invites home shoppers to tour 10 new model homes priced from the mid-$200,000s to $600,000s this weekend, ahead of the official Oct. 22 grand opening.
Visitors can also tour Rorick House, the first of more than 750 acres of recreational amenities, parks, trails and natural open spaces planned for this 3,642-acre community, located at Grand Parkway and FM 529, eight miles north of I-10 west.
Next to the Model Home Village, Rorick House includes the Elyson visitor welcome center, along with Rorick Kitchen, a cafe offering pizza, burgers, smoothies and more.
Models include the Preston III by Westin Homes, which has a rotunda foyer, highlighted by a spiral staircase with wrought-iron spindles, and covered outdoor living area featuring a new design with stone columns and rustic timber beams.
More new models at Elyson include:
Chesmar’s two-story Poplar showcases two covered outdoor living areas — an inviting front porch and a spacious patio.
Darling’s model debuts the innovative “Darling loop,” a design that makes doing laundry easier. The outdoor living area has a fireplace.
David Weekley’s Roth has an open family room and kitchen area flowing onto an outdoor living area.
Highland’s Plan 557 has the master suite and guest suite on the main floor.
A second model, Plan 204, features open living areas overlooking the patio.
Perry’s one-story Plan 2738 has 12-foot ceilings, four bedrooms, a library and game room. The twostory Design 3791 has a rotunda foyer.
Pulte’s Hawthorn has a convenient planning center in the kitchen and a flex room that can be a fifth bedroom.
Trendmaker’s four-bedroom Plan F-790 has a central island kitchen surrounded by the family room, game room and covered patio.
