The covered patio features a cathedral ceiling with wood beams stained to look like cedar, supported by tapered, stone Craftsman-style columns.
Other builders in the model home village are showcasing outdoor kitchens and detached gazebos.
The focus on outdoor living is a perfect fit for Elyson, which is celebrating the beauty and history of the Katy prairie with a master plan that devotes more than 750 acres to recreation centers, parks, trails and natural open spaces.
