Juana Bernard recognizes uniqueness of each client
The real estate industry is always changing, from the market to the documentation required.
“Plus, no two transactions are the same, just like no two clients are the same. What works for one client, may not work for the next. So I always talk with my clients prior to moving forward to understand their goals and needs,” said Juana Bernard, Realtor, Greenwood King Properties.
One main tip that Bernard gives clients selling their home, is that a potential buyer should not walk through your home and be able to define your memories. It is important for them to look at your home and start making their own memories, from the moment they walk in.
“Therefore, when preparing your home for sale, try to look at your home with fresh eyes. Too many personal items take away from the home itself,” Bernard said.
Bernard is a native Houstonian and grew up inside the Loop 610, and she and her husband have remained in the area for the past 20 years.
Yet, when it comes to her focus area, she does not have a defined area. She goes where her clients are interested.
However, her strongest level of expertise is from the Inner Loop to Voss Road, her home stomping grounds.
Prior to real estate, Bernard was the director of marketing for a bank, which brings a set of skills that benefit her real estate clients today.
“In my prior career and today, being organized is mandatory. Often, a transaction can have many things happening at once, so having strong organizational skills is a must to keep things going,” Bernard said.
Bernard is also known for listening to her clients’ needs and making a plan of action based on those needs. She is also known for treating people with respect, for her integrity, communication skills, professionalism, sincerity, for being a people person and a hard worker.
“Every day is a new day, and I love everything about this industry and working with clients. I am also honored to be working with Greenwood King Properties,” Bernard said.
