Fiesta on Fondren adds space as it extends lease
• Fiesta Market renewed and expanded its lease to 45,311 square feet in the Fondren Southwest Village at 11266 Fondren. The lease, which has a 15-year term, includes an additional 12,363 square feet. Brad Elmore of NewQuest Properties represented the landlord, New York-based Garrison Fondren. Fiesta, which has been in the center for 24 years, is renovating the store. Upgrades to the shopping center are also underway.
• Gr8 Plate Hospitality, ownedbyPaul Miller, plans to openaUnion Kitchen ontheground floor of the Elan Memorial Park apartments at 920 Westcott in late summerorearly fall. The 5,100-square-foot space will have a main dining room, bar area, private dining roomandpatio. Other Union Kitchen locations are on Bellaire Boulevard, Ella Boulevard andinMemorialand Kingwood.
• Painting With a Twist has leased 2,000 square feet in the H-E-B Shopping Center in Clear Lake. Sola Salon Studios has leased space in the same shopping center. Jamie Weaver with Edge Realty represented the tenant. Shawn Ackerman and Cyrus Chen of Henry S. Miller represented the landlord.
• Big Frog Custom T-Shirts & More has leased 1,134 square feet at 201 Texas 332 West, Lake Jackson. Matt McKinnerney represented the landlord, Hunington Properties.
• 85C Bakery Café has leased 5,866 square feet in Sterling Center, 9750 Bellaire Blvd. Heather Nguyen and John Nguyen of NewQuest Properties represented the tenant. Stephen Le Jr. of Greatland Investment represented the landlord.
